Moinabad Farmhouse Row: BJP Approaches High Court

  Moinabad Farmhouse Horse Trading Case:  After vehemently denying allegations of horse trading at the Moinabad farmhouse and trying to buy out  four TRS MLAs , as a drama purportedly done by the ruling party, the BJP filed a writ petition in the Telangana High Court on Thursday. The BJP sought for a special inquiry committee to conduct a comprehensive probe into the matter. In its petition, the BJP objected to the Telangana Police’s action and was seeking a special investigation team either by the CBI or a sitting judge to be set up under the High Court’s supervision. Bharat Jodo Yatra Resumes After 4-day Break in Telangana

  After a gap of four days, the Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra resumed from Makthal in Narayanpet district of Telangana on Thursday. The yatra kicked off at 6.30 am from Makthal with State Congress president A Revanth Reddy, MP Uttam Kumar Reddy, CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka and a number of party leaders joining Gandhi. This is the second day of the yatra in the state. The Bharat Jodo Yatra entered the state via Gudebellur on October 23 morning, after exiting Karnataka from Raichur.

Degree Course In Temple Architecture To Begin At Yadagirigutta This AY 2022-23

  Yadagirigutta temple file pic HYDERABAD:  A three-year degree programme in temple architecture will soon commence in the current academic year of 2022-23. As per a press release by the Yadagirigutta Temple Development Authority (YTDA) VC and CEO G Kishan Rao on Thursday, the VC said that the 3 years degree course in Traditional, Sculpture, and Architecture ( Temple Architecture) would commence on November 21 this year. The programme is being conducted in affiliation with the Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University, Hyderabad. JNAFAU  had given permission for affiliation to start a three years degree course in Traditional, Sculpture, and Architecture, in a college to be established in Yadagirigutta temple premises in August this year. This would be on par with institutions offering Temple Architecture as a course like the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and Mahabalipuram.

Desist from Commenting on MLAs Poaching Issue : KTR's Advice to Party Leaders

  Hyderabad: Stating that as the inquiry into the poaching attempt of four Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLAs is in preliminary stage, the TRS Working President KT Rama Rao on Thursday advised the party leaders against speaking to the media on the issue.  In a tweet, the TRS leader said the party leaders should desist from commenting on the horse-trading issue even. He also asked the party colleagues to not respond to any remarks made by other people. It is worth mentioning here that the Cyberabad Police on Wednesday night raided a farmhouse on the outskirts of Hyderabad, and detained three people for allegedly attempting to poach TRS legislators. Telangana sees 74 new COVID-19 cases

Hyderabad : Telangana on Tuesday recorded 74 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the overall caseload to 8,38,182. Hyderabad district reported the highest number of cases at 46. According to a COVID-19 bulletin, 98 people recuperated from the infection, raising the cumulative number of recoveries till date to 8,33,486 The recovery rate stood at 99.44 percent. No fresh fatality was reported due to the infectious disease and the toll continued to be 4,111. The bulletin said 7,796 samples were tested today. The number of active cases was 585, it said.
