Telangana Minister Mohammed Azharuddin, along with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, met Prince Rahim Aga Khan V at the Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad.

 







Prince Rahim Aga Khan V, the 50th hereditary Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslims and chairman of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), is in Hyderabad as part of his first official visit to India since assuming the Imamat. Aga Khan V met Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at Falaknuma Palace on Monday. 

The meeting focused on the Aga Khan Development Network’s work and areas of cooperation in Telangana. Aga Khan network has longstanding presence in Hyderabad The AKDN has been associated with projects in Hyderabad covering heritage conservation, education and community development.

 The Aga Khan Trust for Culture has led the restoration of the Qutb Shahi heritage complex in the city. Prince Rahim Aga Khan V succeeded his father, Aga Khan IV, in 2025. His India visit includes meetings with senior political leaders and engagements related to the network’s work in the country.
